The Three Things that Brings this yogi Joy

Everyone gets asked this on so many occasions. I’ve know for so long what really makes my heart sing. If you were to take a look into my journals, the “goals” are written repeatedly and they’re very clear.

I’d love to share them with you and maybe you’d like to write your own…or start your own Journal Journey. Day-by-day, I come closer to achieving the lifestyle I’ve desired for so long.

Let’s begin….and they’re simple.

  1. MY SONS come in #ONE. They’re now grown young adults who are successful in their own ways. The oldest works a modest data entry job but boys does he make great videos and podcasts with two of his buddies he actually met online and does a fabulous job directing movies, giving recommendations & ratings about movies. They’re actually called Slacker Media now. If you’re a movie buff & don’t mind a bit of cussing (not MY son), visit:                                                                                                                          My other son joined the Air Force almost a year ago. To my surprise because all he ever wanted to do or be was a Game Maker. However the Air Force has proved to be good for him.

***WHY ARE MY SONS SO IMPORTANT TO ME? Answer is simple: they give love unconditionally; they support each other and their mom, Me! We did everything together even until they graduated from high school. They are my Rocks! I look at them and know I certainly did something right.

  2. MY YOGA…all *8 Limbs                                                                                                                                                 Yama :  Universal morality                                                                                                                Niyama :  Personal observance                                                                                                            Asanas :  Body postures                                                                                                                 Pranayama :  Breathing exercises, and control of prana                                                       Pratyahara :  Control of the senses                                                                                                 Dharana :  Concentration and cultivating inner perceptual awareness                                    Dhyana :  Devotion, Meditation on the Divine                                                                           Samadhi :  Union with the Divine

  3. MY ART: I’ve been making jewelry since 1990, starting with simple earrings. I’m an art teacher but actually just became one of the thousand teachers who quit in the State of Arizona due to many reasons but it doesn’t stop me from teaching art. I was a “Master Painter” for Paint Nite for over 2 years but the bars didn’t wear well on me. Still loved the people, just not the bars.                 You can find one of my art classes here: Paint a Fish Using Acrylic Paint                                                                                       You can grab all the supplies and draw a really cute painting of a fishy. (much more to come)          My jewelry also enlivens me on Etsy: Bhakti Studio                                                                                      I can’t tell you how my Soul comes alive when I’m creating. Have you tried?  Painting? I swear you Soul will Swell!

My latest piece with so much more to come.

So what makes your heart sing?
